Digi-Armor Energize!

That’s right, friends, we’re happy to announce that we have completed the mechanics for Armor Digivolving, as seen in Digimon Adventure 2. You can now choose from the eight original Digi-Eggs of Courage, Friendship, Hope, Light, Sincerity, Love, Knowledge and Reliability to create your very own Armor Digimon. What’s even more impressive? You can create your own Digi-Egg to use!

Armor Digivolving is a new prestige class for the Partner Digimon. As per the television show, Armor Digivolving can be used when regular digivolution is impossible, such as in the presence of a control spire or a dark digivice. While Armor Digivolution may not be as powerful in some respects, it is a powerful tool that adds versatility and a reliable source of strength in tough situations.

By way of example: Veemon

Veemon is an adventure-seeking, fun-loving Digimon that is said to bring good luck. Veemon also possesses the ancient ability to Armor Digivolve. Using the Digi-Egg of Courage, he digivolves to Flamedramon, a fiery, red-hot Digimon who char-broils his enemies.
